Gary gets warm receptions in Dunnville, Caledonia Fair

Gary in Dunnville

Gary started off Saturday, Sept 27th at the Farmer’s market in Dunnville and met many people who were upset by the continuous party politics put forth by both the PC and Liberals. People want someone to truly represent them in Ottawa and not a person who will forget about them after being elected.

He then went to MPP Toby Barrett’s pig roast in Dunnville. About 120 people showed up and, after people ate, Gary circulated and handed out literature. In the heart of a Conservative event about 75% were very happy to see him.

Gary at the Caledonia Fair

Gary was at the fair both Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, after Toby Barrett’s pig roast, he returned to the Caledonia Fair from 2pm to closing, and again from noon until closing on Sunday. The booth was VERY busy with hundreds of people telling Gary and his staffers they are voting for him. Many people asked for lawn signs. One man from York told us that Gary was getting 6 votes from his family alone.

We were very pleased to finally meet the artist who created the amazing, ‘Caught in the Middle’ painting, Barb Patterson-Tuck. The work, which won First Prize in the Fair, portrays the dilemma of law abiding residents caught between native extremists on one side and the politicians who enable them on the other. It includes CANACE founders Gary McHale, Merlyn Kinrade and Mark Vandermaas.

We were told by visitors that both Diane Finley and Dr. Eric Hoskins have started to tell people not to vote for Gary McHale. It appears that the PCs and Libs have one thing in common – they don’t like Independent Candidates and they have started to understand that they are losing many votes to Gary.
